Masai Ujiri was fined $35,000 due to statements he made prior to the first playoff game between the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors general manager told fans outside of the Air Canada Centre “People want me to say something about Paul Pierce, but we don’t give a shit about it.”
The Raptors team was also fined $25,000 due to Ujiri’s actions. Naturally the team ambassador took to his Instagram page to address the fine. He posted a picture of Ujiri with “Know Yourself” lyrics “We’ll take the fine for that. That’s been where you find us at,” following by the praying hands emoji.
