Faith Evans was one of the performers at the fifth annual Black Girls Rock! Ms. Evans, who recently told Hot 97 she is working on a collaborative album with the late Notorious B.I.G., joined Lalah Hathaway and Fantasia for the BET special. For her tribute, the singer covered J. Cole’s “Be Free” leading to a co-sign from the rapper himself.
